We Need Your Help

What if every child saw themself reflected in children’s books?

In 2011, the US Census reported that half of kids under the age of 5 were kids of color. Yet only 15% of the children’s books published last year featured main characters of color.
Blood Orange Press is working to fill the gaps in children’s literature one book at a time. We publish stories by and about communities that are too rarely seen in children’s books.
